The Blue Canoes are the most recent sonic development built around the acoustic singer-songwriting duo The Sweatshop Romeos (Chris Gover, Vaden Somers). With the recent addition of the rock solid rhythmic stylings of Paul Mackenzie and Matt Palmer they are quickly transforming into a garage rocking (well, basements mostly) four-piece. With their east coast chowder mash-up, they blend reggae, folk, rock and funk and a hint of metal, capable of rocking the party for at least 45 minutes to a hour.
