This was our first show at the Blind Beggar and it was a pretty awesome set, aside from a major guitar malfunction. During our second or third song, Vaden somehow breaks not one, but two strings. Shitty things was, we all forgot to bring our backup guitars that night, go figure. I think we handled it pretty well as we continued to play while Vaden tried to put new stings on his guitar. As it turns out, it was more than a broken string, the nut or bridge came loose or something rather I can’t remember exactly. We needed a solution and we needed one quick. At that point, Max the sound guy… an exceptional sound guy I might add, ran and grabbed one of the guitars hanging on the wall in the venue and brought it up to us. And away we went. How’s that for a dramatic onstage gear malfunction story?
